Welcome to OHRNS 245 Human Resources Management in Jewish Nonprofits! This course is designed to equip professionals and leaders in Jewish communal organizations with the knowledge and skills required to leverage strategic human resource practices, drive organizational change, foster talent development, and promote organizational effectiveness. The course explored leadership principles within the HR function, including strategic planning, culture-building, legal and risk management practices, employee engagement, inclusion practices, change management, and effective collaboration.
Through real-world case studies, interactive discussions, and group projects, students will learn to use HR practices to drive organizational goals, create inclusive work environments, and develop strategic partnerships with executive leadership. This course is designed for managers, team leaders, and professionals looking to advance their leadership skills and foster people-centric organizations.
By the end of the course, a student will be able to:
